Brestroke swimming technique

What percentage of your arms and legs do you use in brestroke?

Thank you for your question, the simple answer to your question that about 60 percent is taken with your legs and about 40 percent with your arms in breastroke swimming. This is why it is very important to make sure you do arms and legs correctly and effectively because your propulsion will be effected, i.e. if you had bad leg technique which is common in breastroke your arms would compensate for your legs making the stroke inefficient, you can tell this because your upper arms will ache after swimming for a while. Check out my page about Breastroke swimming legs for more details.
I hope this has answered your question, if there is anything else I can help you with please ask again, that’s what I’m here for,

Dale
