I just want to know that I am heavy on my thighs and bottom so when I try to float my body does not come straightened i.e. my body does not float please help me

Hello Savita,

Floating on the surface of the water can be difficult depending on your body mass. For example if you carry a lot of body fat you will float better that if you carry a lot of body muscle. So if you have little or no body fat you are then more likely to sink than float. If you carry a lot or some body fat you will float better. This doesn’t mean you will not be able to swim. When you swim you pull yourself through the water.

You are more likely to float well if you are woman because women float better than men because they generally have more body fat than men. Men tend to not float as good because they carry more muscle. But saying this there are other factors to the rule.. Some people are more heaver boned and some carry more air spaces within their bodies so it can be so many factors that contribute to this....

I hope this has given you some insight to your problem and has helped you in some way. If you have any more questions for me please contact me again....

Thanks again for your question

Dale :)
